Karmon Sears, PsyD
Dr. Sears is a licensed Psychologist with a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and two Master’s Degrees—One in Psychology and the other in Clinical Social Work.
She is the 2013 Recipient of the Psychologist of the Year Award from the Florida Psychological Association and the Past President of the Lower West Coast Chapter of the Florida Psychological Association.
Her most successful clients are adults ages 19 to 95 who want to learn how to manage depression, anxiety, the psychological effects of chronic illness, improve their ability to enjoy meaningful and healthy relationships, need help with transitions in life (I.e., marriage, career, retirement, or with grief and loss), need help with trauma recovery, or need help managing stress. Dr. Sears also provides psychological and neuropsychological assessments for bariatric surgery or neurostimulators, as well as for diagnostic clarification. Kelley Wilson, LMHC
Kelley Wilson is a licensed mental health counselor (MH7400) with over 30 years of successful experience treating adult individuals, couples, and families. She has a Master of Arts degree from East Carolina University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling. While seeking her Master’s Degree, Kelley was fortunate to train extensively with a counselor who was an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy approved expert. She also has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Counseling, a goal oriented therapeutic method widely recognized as being extremely effective. Kelley’s masters education and advanced training has helped other to achieve significant improvement in functioning and quality of life.
Kelley began her counseling career as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC 2241) working in private practice in North Carolina. During this time, she became certified in hypnosis through the American Institute of Hypnotherapy. Upon moving to Florida,Kelley pursued a license as a mental health counselor and continued her practicing in the private sector. Later in her career, she did intensive work in Family Mediation Training as a means to broaden her knowledge and enhance her counseling skills.
Kelley specializes in treating marriage, relationship, and family issues, separation and divorce, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, stress management, panic disorder, anger management, college adjustment issues, life adjustment issues, and women’s issues. Kelley works with adults, adolescents ages 15-18, and some geriatric clients.
Kelley has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1990. She and her husband have two grown boys and a beautiful daughter-in-law. Kelley enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs. She loves boating, spending time at the beach, fishing, playing tennis, traveling, and cheering on the UF Gators!
